The CHITA08 is a service design workshop, focussing on how the sustainable everyday
life can be empowered by mobile communication in the approach of service design.
The workshop topic investigates the potentials of mobile communication in enabling
solution of collaborative services which express new social models, management and
development of local territory, participatory culture and so on as the new ways of
being and doing in everyday life towards sustainability.

Chita Workshop 2008 is a didactic initiative of exchange between the School of Design at Jiangnan University in Wuxi (China) and the Design Department at Politecnico di Milano (Italy).
